Symbian is good for gaming exp. While droid is better in browsing. Its all about the specs of a phone that really matters most. Comparing os is just a waste of time. Look for the better full specs.period

I’ve also experienced with symbian as well as android os based mobile but I get symbian is better than android in many it has better user interface and the way of multitasking is so better than android. As a example Nokia 5233, if some of windows or task get gang then it doesn’t effect on other windows and you simply move any windows and you can close that hanged out windows by going option >show open apps>put your finger for 1 or 2 second you will two option open and exit choosing exit that hanged out windows would closed without any headache .
But other os doesn’t provide such this as Bada, android. If they hang all of the mobile get jammed.
So symbian is the best.

I support cent percent…a portable in pocket,a micro PC…it is magical, and all my illusion regarding Symbian has vanished…getting immense joy after using the droid…

Use fact not logic to compare between symbian and android. If you have never used android before but always symbian you are likely to love symbian. The support for symbian is until 2016. And why do you think has Nokia chosen Microsoft ‘s Windows Phone OS as its primary smartphone platform dropping Symbian as its main smartphone OS of choice?

Go 4 Nokia C6-00/ C6-01 (marginally better than the first one)…with a sturdy body and a very good GPS /EDGE the C6 Series is a wondrous lot.

Yahooo! they do deserve diz dressing down…with a lil knowledge they r taking Android to the seventh heaven. Most apps in the droid are cheap, redundant and useless. It is a shoe biz cell, neither sturdy nor simple, user friendly. The necessary apps can be installed in the Symbian o.s. too…ignorant dunces, taking the brief of Android and they surely would the ship sink…sheeps’ ship…

@ shuvoz, Exactly….Android entry level models are sold almost in a throwaway price tag, where the Symbian O.S ready, quality phones are expensive.. Symbian is not for the “look the sleek design and soooo cheap” public. For a long period Nokia has had the monopoly biz. But before a challenging ambience and newly emerging foolish Android fever Nokia would concentrate now on their R & D with ceaselessly, unyielding endeavour. Symbian is a macho guy b4 the kiddo called Android. U R 100% CORRECT SYMBIAN RCKZ n continue t do so, when Android ould be an oblivious history.
