The Nokia N97 is the first touchscreen phone in the Nseries range. Featuring a vivid 3.5 inch TFT display, the N97 puts all your favourite social networking sites on your home screen as interactive shortcuts so you can stay connected. The N97 also features a slide out QWERTY keyboard making it perfect for instant messaging and email. What’s more, the N97 is a powerful multimedia computer thanks to 32GB of internal memory plus a memory card slot, a 5.0 Megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and built in GPS with Nokia maps.

A great phone indeed, there is a downside though… I still liked the slide feature of it makes it sleek and functional at some aspects but it’s also making the phone break easily, the ribbon connecting the phone’s face and base is not that durable to withstand frequent usage.

The phone was consider a failure vs other high end smart phone like iPhone and android

When it first came out, people were rushing to buy it. Now, nobody cares about it. It’s because other phones are smart phones.

@Albert Divo. I agree, as the nokia N97 was considered a failure. It failed to compete with iPhone and andriod phones. Let see what hardware nokia comes out with the new partnership with Microsoft Phone 7
